Dreo Humidifier Troubleshooting and Maintenance

Water Leakage


1.

For new humidifiers, make sure the protective foam on the base has been removed before use (see pictures).

2.

Make sure the float is fixed in position, press down until you hear the "click" (see the picture for reference).

3.

Unplug and plug again the humidifier to the electrical outlet, set the mist level to high.

4.

Check whether the indicator lights and control panel are abnormal or unresponsive, if that's the case please contact customer support

Humidifier is not working


1.

Make sure the float is fixed in position, press down until you hear the "click" (see picture below for reference).

2.

There is too much water on the base, please pour out the water and reinstall the water tank (do not add water directly to the tank).

3.

Unplug and plug again the humidifier to the electrical outlet, set the mist level to high.

4.

Check whether the indicator lights and control panel are abnormal or unresponsive, if that's the case please contact customer support

There is water on the tank, but the low water level indicator light is on


1.

Make sure the float is fixed in position, press down until you hear the "click" (see picture below for reference).

2.

There is too much water on the base, please pour out the water and reinstall the water tank (do not add water directly to the tank).

3.

Unplug and plug again the humidifier to the electrical outlet, set the mist level to high.

4.

Check whether the indicator lights and control panel are abnormal or unresponsive, if that's the case please contact customer support

Humidity readings are not accurate


1.

There is too much water on the base, please pour out the water and reinstall the water tank (do not add water directly to the tank).

2.

Remove any coverings around the humidifier.

3.

The built-in humidity sensor might be faulty, please contact customer supportsupport@dreo.com

4.

The humidity reading might vary slightly around the room, 10% or less deviation of humidity is normal.

Mold growth, bad smell


1.

Please clean the humidifier and water cartridge once every one or two weeks.

2.

It is recommended to use distilled or purifier water for better results.

3.

Please clean the water tank and base if they haven't been used for a long period of time.
